Application Requirements
You can only submit one entry per each category for 2011. When submitting more than one project or program per year, a separate nomination and entry fee must be submitted for each nomination. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.

All nominations will be submitted online. Within the online application, you will be able to upload up to 3 web page links. You must explain the significance of each web page link. Links with no explanation will be ignored.

After submitting your application online, you will receive an invoice shortly and must remit payment by February 6, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. (PST). Any application that has not been paid for will not be considered. CALED accepts checks and all major credit card payments.

A panel of CALED members, expert in various aspects of the field of economic development, will evaluate each nomination package. For more information, please contact Kristy Nong at 916-448-8252, ext. 13.

• December 29, 2011 Announcement of Application Fees increase after January 9, 2012
• January 10, 2012 Awards Application Fees will increase
  
• January 12, 2012 Awards Announcement regarding deadline
• January 26, 2012 Awards Announcement regarding application fee increase
• February 1, 2012 Deadline for Application Submittal
• February 6, 2012 Awards Payment Deadline
• February 20, 2012 Judging deadline
• February 21, 2012 Awards Announcement sent to applicants for review 
• February 28, 2012 Awards will be engraved for all Winners
• March 1, 2012 Award Winners Announcement will go out electronically
  
• March 21, 2012 Announcement of Grand Prize Winners and Award of Excellence Winners at CALED's 32nd Annual Conference in Sacramento, CA

Awardees can have CALED Staff or Board Member make a second awards presentation at a local venue. All Awardees may also purchase a duplicate award at their own expense. Please submit these requests to Kristy Nong at 916-448-8252, ext. 13 at your earliest convenience.
