Hayward is located on the thriving eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay with easy access to San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland. The individual selected for this opportunity will have proven experience and success in developing recommendations and policy for strategy and program implementation for economic development efforts. She/he must have experience in the attraction and retention of businesses and working with local and regional economic development partners. A strong technical base as well as the ability to look to the future is required. Bachelor's in public or business administration, planning, economics, or related, is desired; Master's preferred. Salary range $101,462 - $123,282 DOQ, excellent benefits.
