The new Director of Economic and Community Development will have an essential role in enhancing the vibrant economic environment; will be responsible for the City's Community Redevelopment Agency, various business assistance programs focused on enhancing economic development efforts, and the City's housing and CDBG programs. The Director will oversee a staff of six and an overall budget of $11.8M. Creativity, innovation, service and leadership will be essential attributes for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have strong RDA and economic development experience along with a track record of effective management and administration in the public sector.
