"Community Pride and Forward Vision" identifies Stanton as a place where innovation and pride in the community are important to the quality of life. The Community Development Director reports to the City Manager and is responsible for administering the activities of the City's Planning, Building, Neighborhood Services and Housing Divisions and acts as staff to the Redevelopment Agency. In addition, the Community Development Director is responsible for the Department's administration of the City's Air Quality Improvement Program, Housing and Community Development Block Grant Fund (CDBG), Redevelopment/Economic Development, and Low and Moderate Income Housing. Position requires a
bachelor's degree and six years of professional and administrative experience in community planning and development.
