Economic Development Executive Project Director (Review Date: August 14, 2008)

Under the direction of the Dean, Economic Development, develops,
delivers and evaluates a variety of statewide Economic and Workforce
Development programs and initiatives in cooperation with the California
Community College Chancellor’s Office. Assists in the marketing of EWD
programs and initiatives. The primary focus is providing EWD program
coordination services through a renewable grant which includes
coordinating the annual EWD statewide conference, arranging EDPAC
(Economic Development Program Advisory Committee) meetings, and
oversight for day-to-day management of the grant operations and
reports. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Director, Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT) (Review Date: August 12, 2008)

Under the direction of the Dean, Economic Development, provides
leadership, direction and managerial oversight for the Center for
Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT). Develops, coordinates and
monitors education and training programs, technical assistance and
technology transfer services offered by the CACT to other colleges and
employers in the South Coast Region (Northern Los Angeles County,
Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County.) Provides
on-going research regarding potential opportunities in new technologies.
