Rachael Alexander
Office Manager
Rachael Alexander joined the CALED team in the fall of 2004. She was hired as a part time Administrative Assistant while she was attended California State University, Sacramento. In the winter of 2007, Rachael was promoted to the position of Executive Assistant. Now, after receiving her Bachelors Degree she has been promoted to the position of Office Manager.
Rachael grew up in Chico California, where she was very active in community theatre. Rachael attended California State University, Chico on a Vocal Performance Scholarship for two years. Rachael then followed her family to Sacramento in 2004 where she completed her degree in Liberal Studies and Music.
As Office Manager, Rachael is the Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO and manages the operations of the front office. Rachael's other duties include acting as the CALED, CA Academy for Economic Development and the California Downtown Association Board of Directors Liaison, managing job advertisements, and working closely on website updates and the electronic newsletter. Rachael also provides support at events and special projects.

Rachael has found a love for our industry and is excited to focus her learning and career on economic development and its importance in building a vital community.
In Rachael's spare tlme she enjoys cooking, sporting events, musical theater and hanging out with friends.
