Brian McMahon was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in December of 2007 as Executive Director for the California Employment Training Panel, the state's primary incumbent worker training program. Prior to his appointment at ETP, Brian served as Director of Strategic Initiatives for the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment & Training Administration and played a key role in the development and implementation of the Agency's initiatives during his tenure in Washington. From 2005 to 2007, Brian was Executive Director for the California Workforce Investment Board. Brian also served as President of the California Manufacturers and Technology Association's Service Corporation from 1992 to 2004. He also spent a number of years with the California Department of Commerce as Director and Deputy Director of the Office of Local Development.
